Anne Knödler: Fümeli Balık (Smoked Fish)

Anne Knödler spent six month in Istanbul with a residency from Burg Giebichenstein Kunsthochschule Halle. She developed the performance “Fümeli balık”, “Smoked fish” an ongoing social interventional art project. On different spots in Istanbul the artist started smoking local fish in a selfmade oven. The interaction with fisherman and different people joining the performance generated to a interdisciplinary project over a couple of month.
