Nachhall (reverberation)
Reverberation – Nachhall – deals with the transience of people, things and events. Symbolic of this is the sound that you hear when the actual sound event has already faded away. Through their installations, performances, workshops and publications, the participating artists want to convey to the audience a new perspective and way of listening in terms of sound art and art-related experimental music.
Reverberation is the title of KlangLand 14 (SoundLand 14); an international exhibition that will be held from 4 to 14 April 2014 at Kunsttempel Kassel with the participation of eight artists and sound artists from Germany, Austria and the UK make. Curator is the composer and musician Wolfram Spyra who is also represented in the exhibition.
Participating artists: Adam Collis (Großbritannien), Thomas Imhof, Simon Miles, Clara Oppel, Adrian Palka, Daren Pickles, Stefan Riebel, SpringerParker, Wolfram Spyra, Tom Williams
