8th BerlinBiennial
The 8th Berlin Biennial is dealing with the historical narrations, places do have, and with the individual choises people do for building up their own identity. Curator Juan A. Gaitán choıse locations all over Berlin to integrate a historical frame, that isn’t limiting anybody but has the purpose to widen the look for Berlin and it’s historical past.
I could only see the show in Kunstwerke. That is an art space in Berlin Mitte, that was founded in the early 1990th in an old Margarine Factory. The Auguststrasse is known for it’s galleries nowadays, right after the reunification it still had it’s East Berlin-Flair.
So I made my personal choices in the show of the parts I’ve seen, I really liked it a lot.
