Istiklal Boulevard got a mess in the past year.

The Constructing site of a big Mosque on Taksim Square caused the removal of the historical tramway.

Krater in the streets and a change to a new look of the quarter shows the new political orientation of Turkey.

The remake is slowly moving towards an Ottoman Disneyland style.
